ICCA Sponsors Central Whidbey Little League

The 2024 Central Little League season has just begun and the Island County Corrections Association is proud to help with that. This year we have sponsored a Majors Little League team with Central Whidbey. Their first couple of games were this past weekend and our Secretary Melissa Faivre and I had the chance to get out and see the kids play.

The amount of enthusiasm and effort the kids put into the game was just awesome to see. We are so happy and grateful for this opportunity and we wish all of the kids playing the best of luck….but obviously our team gets a little more of our efforts in the luck department!

I would also like to give a special thanks and shout you to Humphrey Signs for providing the banner for the outfield fence! It looks amazing. Humphrey Signs is owned and operated by Jeff Humphrey who is also a Sheriff’s Office Chaplain. He is always looking out for us and finding ways to help the community. Thanks Jeff!
